What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an energy-based medicine that is one of the oldest and still one of the most widely practiced forms of medicine in the world. Acupuncture supports the body’s innate healing potential by balancing the body’s energy or (Qi). When the energy flows smoothly, there is health but if there is a blockage or deficiency, it will lead to pain, emotional issues, or disease. By placing very fine needles (the size of a hair) in the body, the energy can be directed to help one’s body find the right balance it needs for health. Acupuncture restores health without causing negative side effects.
